Weiss-Johnson has proudly served the Edmonton community for over four decades due to our passion for quality and comfort. Our story started in 1977, when Donald Johnson and his business partner Bob Weiss launched Weiss-Johnson Sheet Metal Ltd. with little more than a pick-up truck, a box of business cards, and a bank loan.
Back then, supplies were stored in Bob’s basement and later his garage, while the office operated out of Don’s home. By 1980, Weiss-Johnson had outgrown the basement days and moved into a rented bay, where we remained until 1996. Despite ups and downs, the company built a reputation for honest service and fair prices.
In 1996, Continued Growth led to our first purpose - built facility at 8821 – 60 Avenue.
Over the years, expansions and renovations followed as our team and services evolved. Eventually, Don and Bob passed the torch to Don’s sons, Dennis and Mark Johnson, who continue to carry their legacy forward with the same values and work ethic.
To better serve our customers, we moved again. This time to our current location at 5803 Roper Road. Our new facility includes a beautiful showroom where customers can explore the latest in heating, cooling, and home comfort technology. Today, Weiss-Johnson is proud to be one of the largest and most trusted HVAC companies in Edmonton’s region.
