Driver – Fleet Support

Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver fleet vehicles for scheduled maintenance, repairs, or detailing
• Shuttle parts and tools between shops, suppliers, and job sites
• Assist the Fleet Mechanic with vehicle inspections and upkeep tasks
• Support emergency vehicle recovery (e.g. jumpstarts, battery swaps, towing coordination)
• Maintain basic cleanliness and organization of fleet yard, shop and vehicle staging areas
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle concerns promptly
• Track mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs accurately
• Follow all road safety and company driving protocols
• Provide additional hands-on support to the Fleet team as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract (Class 3 an asset)
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in a work or commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles (e.g. transit vans, cube vans)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling loading/unloading tasks
